A radar is a system people use to detect where something is, where it\u2019s going and how fast it\u2019s moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An\u00a0Innovation Design Radar\u00a0<\/strong>is a conceptual tool for setting strategic directions and design meaningful \u201cthings\u201d. It is acting as a dashboard cum score cards, allowing to detect patterns (behavioural, organisational) and envision the possible changes, movements, transformations, in order to shape concepts, strategies, scenarios and to draft roadmaps, plans, prototypes. As designers, what are we sensing from the context, in dialogue with the stakeholders, impact the design and the designing. The Innovation Design Radar<\/strong> allows to trace trajectories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Strategic Design Radar<\/strong> is focusing on the building blocks of designing \u201cthings\u201d with five areas of focus \u2013 Communications, Objects, Services, Environments \u2013 interconnected by the \u201cInteractions\u201d zone. These areas allow to structure the intents specific to each zone of deliverables to be shaped and prototyped. The approach is \u201corganisational\u201d and project-centred<\/em> (collaborative enterprise planned to achieve a particular aim). The focus is output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Narrative Design Radar <\/strong>is driven by storytelling approaches to explore and envision how a design process can be expressed in dynamic ways. It allows to work on the relations and interactions between protagonists (stakeholders) in a playground (situated context, with multiple dimensions). Connecting Fictions, Forms, Functions and Facts ViA Actions. The approach is \u201cnarrative\u201d and plot-centred<\/em> (main activities devised and presented as interrelated sequences).
